SOOŚ for IIaPGW projects will start on September 30, 2021

The President of The National Water Management Authority makes publicly available information on the planned procedure of public participation in the proceedings on the strategic environmental impact assessment of the second updates of the water management plans in the areas of individual river basins (hereinafter IIaPGW).

At the same time, the President of The National Water Management Authority informs that:

1. Anyone concerned, from September 30 to October 20, 2021, can view the materials provided, i.e.:
• "The project of the second update of the water management plan in the Banówka river basin" (April 2021) and the "Forecast of the environmental impact of the IIaPGW project in the Banówka river basin area",

• "The project of the second update of the water management plan in the Dniester basin area" (April 2021) and the "Forecast of the environmental impact of the IIaPGW project in the Dniester basin",

• "Design for the second update of the Danube River Basin Management Plan" (April 2021) with a supplement (September 2021) and the "Forecast of the environmental impact of the IIaPGW project in the Danube basin area",

• "The project of the second update of the water management plan in the Elbe river basin" (April 2021) with a supplement (September 2021) and the "Forecast of the environmental impact of the IIaPGW project in the Elbe river basin area",

• "The project of the second update of the water management plan in the Neman basin area" (April 2021) with supplements (September 2021) and the "Forecast of the environmental impact of the IIaPGW project in the Neman basin area",

• "The project of the second update of the water management plan in the Oder river basin" (April 2021) with a supplement (September 2021) and the "Forecast of the environmental impact of the IIaPGW project in the Oder river basin area",

• "The project of the second update of the water management plan in the Pregoła basin" (April 2021) with supplements (September 2021) and the "Forecast of the environmental impact of the IIaPGW project in the Pregoła basin",
• "Project of the second update of the water management plan in the Świeża basin area" and "Environmental impact assessment of the IIaPGW project in the Świeża basin area",

• "The project of the second update of the water management plan in the Vistula basin area" (April 2021) with supplements (September 2021) and the "Forecast of the environmental impact of the IIaPGW project in the Vistula basin area".
The documents are available for inspection at The National Water Management Authority,Żelazna 59a, 00-848 Warsaw (5th floor, room No. 5.5), during office hours. Due to the sanitary restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic, prior appointment will be required via phone number: 22 37 20 240). The documents are also available on the project website: https://apgw.gov.pl/pl/soos.

2. Everyone has the right to submit comments and motions within the time limit specified in point 1.

3. Comments and applications submitted after the deadline specified in point 1 will not be considered.

4. Comments and conclusions can be:
• sent to the e-mail address:soos@cdmsmith.com, without having to affix them with a qualified electronic signature,
• submitted in writing, by sending to the following address: The National Water Management Authority,Żelazna 59A, 00-848 Warsaw,

• submitted electronically using the form available on the website.

5. The authority competent to consider comments and applications is the President of the National Water Management Authority.
